Board Members

President – Megan Herron

Hey! My name is Megan Herron & I’m excited to be serving as your PTO President for the 2018-2019 school year! This will be my third year serving on the board. I have been married to my husband, Mitchel, for 12 years. He works as a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad. I will be working part time as a Pre-School teacher this year at Burleson First United Methodist. I’m also a Stylist for Plunder Jewelry. My husband and I have 4 children. Rylee is 12 and she will be in 7th grade at Steam Middle School this year. Treyton is 10 and he will be in 5th grade. Maxsen is 7 and he will be in 2nd grade. Preslee is 5 and she will be in Kindergarten. We don’t really know what “free time” is because all of ours is either spent at the baseball fields watching our boys play or at the dance studio watching our girls dance. Our life is sometimes crazy but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Vice President – Kacie Pope

My name is Kacie Pope. I am your PTO Vice-President. I’ve also been known to roam the halls a time or two as Bolt, our school mascot.  This is my second year serving on the board.  My husband, Justin, and I have been married for 9 years. He’s a Critical Utilities Mechanic at Alcon ASPEX. We have 4 boys, 2 that attend Bransom.  Keller, our serial chips & salsa eater, is in 2nd grade and Henry, aka “Hank the Tank”, is in kindergarten.  I’m a stylist at a studio in Burleson. Salon 117 is my second home.  When I’m not banging some hair, you’ll find me in the school helping out wherever help is needed or in the drop off line struggling to keep it together while I drink my 3rd cup of coffee for the morning, my hair a hot mess, and most likely still in my pajamas.

My goal as your Vice-President is to find a balance between supporting our school and our parents by helping parents increase their involvement and engagement. Students perform better when their parents and families are
supporting their education.

Teaching is hard.
Parenting is hard.
Y’all, adulting is hard.

Let’s all come together and give our faculty and students a “BOBCAT EXPERIENCE” they’ll never forget!

Treasurer – Lauren Eagar

This is my second year on the Executive Board and first year as Treasurer.  Last year I worked as part of the Student Hospitality team and was involved with the Popcorn Posse.  My husband, Jason, and I moved from Fort Worth to Burleson almost 3 years ago and have never looked back.  My oldest son, Caleb, will be a 6th grader at Kerr, while Camden will be in 2nd grade at Bransom, and Macayla is a new Kindergartener.  When I am not volunteering at school or being the carpool to different after school activities, I work part time in Human Resources for a long term care company in Fort Worth as well as attend UTA where I am working towards my Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  I am really excited about the coming school year and hope that we can work together to create a real family-oriented Bobcat Community!

Secretary – Michelle Martinez

My name is Michelle Martinez. This will be my first year joining the PTO but our second year at Bransom. I’m looking forward to meeting other families and making this a very memorable year. #BobcatPride #BleedBlue

Student Hospitality – Lorraine Tune, Jennifer Longoria and Vickie Utley

My name is Lorraine, I have lived in Burleson since 2016 with my husband, Michael, our beautiful daughter, Allison and our sweet dog, Sammie. I’m originally from the central Texas area and attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. I am an Account Executive at Financial Benefit Services, FBS, and work to enhance and enroll employee benefits packages for school districts throughout Texas.  I joined PTO because our family had the most wonderful Kindergarten year at Bransom and I wanted to do my part to continue enhancing the Bobcat Experience.

Hi, I am Jennifer Longoria and am a stay at home mother of three, with two daughters at Bransom. My husband and I are originally from Fort Worth, and I’m a certified teacher who loves working with children! Our family is new to Bransom, and we are so excited for this school year!

My name is Vickie Utley,  I am very excited to serve on the PTO board, this is my second year serving on the PTO within the last 4 years. My husband Charles and I have 2 sons Kayden (8 years old) who will be going into 3rd grade at Bransom and Charlie (5 years old) who will be going to pathway. We are also hosting a foreign exchange student this year, Alexandra who will be a Junior at Centennial High School. Before kids, I graduated from Dallas Baptist University where I got a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and where I was on a volleyball scholarship. I also just recently decided to stop coaching select and high school volleyball to be able to be home more with the kids. I do volunteer work at Alliance for children and families in fort worth. I am looking forward to another excellent school year.

Teacher Hospitality – Melissa McCroskey, Mallory Walls, Sara Seeton and Dani Ingram

Melissa McCroskey will be starting her second year on the Executive Board.  She has a 3rd grader and a Pre-K future Bobcat.
Hi! My name is Mallory Walls. This is my second year serving on the board. I’m excited to be back and be apart of teacher hospitality again this year. I have been married to my husband, Stephen, for 11 years. He is a conductor/engineer for Union Pacific Railroad. I am a registered nurse and work at Cook Children’s Hospital part time. We have 2 kids; Kale who is 9 and will be in the 4th grade and Kinley who is 7 and will be in the second grade. We spend most of our time in many extracurricular activities: baseball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and gymnastics. It’s busy but we love every second. Excited and ready for a great year that will entail spoiling our teachers and staff because they are just so amazing for all they do for our kids.
